THOMAS CALELLA

My name is Thomas Calella and I love the art of filmmaking. Narrative and documentary are a passion, but I see light in every project I get to work on.

I have worked on a variety of projects from academy qualified documentaries to commercials and advertisements for companies such as Disney, Hulu, Spotify, Google, and many more. I always like to explore new avenues and genres and am always learning. As someone who has worked in this field from the ground up, I have had the opportunity to apprentice with amazing mentors and am always looking to acquire new skills and hone the ones I already have.

On my free time I enjoy photography, rock climbing, and taking care of/playing with my 2 year old Blue Heeler Raya. I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and worked a season out west as a Wildland Firefighter. I love the outdoors and am always looking for an interesting story to tell through my camera.
